Cooler breezes bring in different petals...

I just love fall! The cooler weather, which brings out the blankets and hot cocoa...but my favorite thing about the fall is the beautiful colors on the trees. This upcoming weekend a few ladies and I are taking 7 fun loving girls about 2.5 hours away from the city to a beautiful country home that a church family lets our group borrow for a weekend. I am so looking forward to this weekend! Its amazing how just a 24 hour period away from it all can refresh a person!

I've been overdoing it a bit in my house--and I've got the pain to show for it! When fall comes its time to do the "Great Clothes Switch" of which I am the CEO of the big change. This week I managed to do 3 boys clothes and 1 girls all in one day. The boys basically rotate out to a storage bin, while my daughters just rotates completely out of the house. One of my fellow PTA parents daughter is two years younger than my daughter and tiny as she is..so Miss L and I decided that we'd give her the clothes that no longer fit. Miss T was so happy with the clothing that she wore some of them to school today! This made me glad, as a Christian we're called to help others, and Miss L and I really made a difference for this girl.

So, along with my "Great Clothes Switch" I've been working on overdrive painting a cool lookin' tv cabinet for my daughter..which I will post more about later...with pics! Hubby says its way past my bedtime and with my side pain I need to get to bed---I'll update more tomorrow...for now..checking out the petals between my pillowcases!

Its October...Fall yes...Facebook..no

October...I can't believe fall is already here! I'm going to try and work on my blog now that the weather is getting cooler, and I'm getting a bit sick of Facebook.

Yes, believe it or not- its getting redundant and boring. I haven't played "farm" games in months, but I constantly get stuff and posts about them- I don't have the time for that. Otherwise I find FB to be a large time consumer with many things that I really don't want to know about. Facebook should be called "The Brag Zone" cause I find too many times thats all it is. Its almost like being a fly on people's proverbial wall, info that I really don't need to know.

Its not all bad though, I have a few friends that write quirky notes and have interesting comments and ideas..but for the most part its a bit annoying.

So, I decided to return to my blog (once I reset the password...yeah, its been awhile) I think I'm going to ask my buddy Cupcake Daze to give me some pointers..I'm having a tough time figuring it all out!!
